Step two · connect
Bring your
device online.
Connect Trezor Safe 5 to your computer with its USB cable. Keep your device in sight while you set it up.
Connect directly to your computer when possible. If your device has buttons or a touchscreen, follow the prompts on the device itself.
Stay on the official site
Check that your browser address is trezor.io/start. Trezor will never ask you to type your recovery seed here.
This guide doesn’t detect your device. Continue when you’ve connected it.
Step three · install
One last step
to get started.
Use Trezor Suite to install the latest firmware and finish setting up your Trezor Safe 5.
Download Trezor Suite from the official Trezor website. It will walk you through firmware, wallet creation, and security checks.
Keep your recovery seed private. Only write it down on the physical recovery card when your device asks. Never take a photo or share it with anyone.
